If you thought my post from below on tribalistic thinking is interesting, Billmon just wrote an article using "tribalism" as an explanation of our current political disaster scene, as an explanation of why plummetting approval ratings for Our good ol' buddy and his super fun squad does not result in rising ratings for Democrats.
